Spring in Queensland

It's the beginning of spring here in Queensland. Just as in a European spring, there are flowers opening everywhere.

This exotic-looking beauty is a wild (native) Grevillea shrub, round the back of a local supermarket.

Off tonight to my grandchildren's school concert - everyone is really excited!
