Hardwick Hall

First time visitor to The National Trust's Hardwick Hall today. Lucky with the weather - the sun shone.

Enjoyed walking the gardens and watching the swallows around 100 flying around and resting on the hall. I tried to photograph them as they swooped down to drink from the pond in the centre of Bess's back garden - no real success but one or two very near misses.
