Day 14

A picture of people, for once. (Apparently I didn't get the message that we were supposed to look at the camera...)

I took so many photos this morning, hoping to capture some aspect of my morning walk to class (which ended up becoming a half hour back and forth search for a classroom). However, after having such a great evening with friends, I figured it was only fitting the photo of the day reflect what made the day so enjoyable.

In the spirit of keeping with ambitious meals, Caelie, Monica, Axel, and I cooked a dinner that took quite some time to make. The meal was well worth the wait, and it filled our apartment (and the courtyard of our building) with warm smells. It felt good to be the ones providing the delicious smells, for once, in our building.

Time to read, though. Two good classes tomorrow, and a hefty load of organizing to do before heading off to Poland for the weekend. This doesn't feel like real life.
