I love the sea...

Been a bit of a tough day for many reasons but the sea always lifts my mood - whatever it looks like. There have been some very high tides this week and its been rough resulting in so much seaweed being washed up on the sand. Hard to believe that only a few weeks ago this beach was full of people. We went to the funeral today of a dear gracious man (hubbies cousin) who died 3 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. It was a wonderful service and so uplifting as he was a Christian. It was so good to meet relatives we haven't seen in a while too. Quite a reflective day in many ways!
