Buildings are red here (this is my lovely workmate
This evening I followed Clarrissa home, because she lives right by the post depot and I had something to pick up. Leeds is a great place, because nothing in the centre is more than a half hour walk away, so although this is at the other side of the city from me, it wasn't a problem at all.
Today's discoveries:
Leeds Teaching Hospitals have I think (if memory serves) 12 MRI scanners. 12! That's a lot. As a comparison: the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary have 2 clinical MRIs (there are a few other ones in the medical physics for research but they don't really count). They also have 12 linear accelerators. Well I was very impressed.
Leeds city centre is somewhat lacking in fast food places, which I like. Althought all I wanted when walking home at around 8pm and not yet having had dinner was a KFC!
