Third Year Abroad

By LittleLots

Currently my life seems to revolve around dealing with university admin and adapting to the Spanish lifestyle. My main objective yesterday was to try and get a Spanish phone, easier said than done when the phone shop is shut from 2-5:30pm and they never teach you useful phrases like Pay as You Go in Spanish lessons... But somehow it was achieved and I am now equipped with a Spanish number and a beautiful old Nokia brick phone.

Despite this seeming to take up a good part of the day, there was still time to familiarise ourselves with our faculty building at the university campus (which of course is at the top of a very large hill), before a student flat dinner and drinks followed by our first Erasmus fiesta! Having only arrived back home at 6:30am, I think the next task will be adapting to Spanish timings. Starting to understand the importance of a siesta...
