After work tonight I met up with an old friend who was in town for business - someone I've known for 26 years, although we've only had sporadic contact for most of the last 20 :).

It was really nice to touch base. Reminded me of this old motto from Girl Scouts - about old friends being gold. Although, I think some of my new friends are platinum - rather than silver - and you all know who you are!

A toast, to friends old and new - they are all the precious metal in my life!
