Life saver

I admit, when I first discovered the candies called "Life savers" in the US, I didn't get it. I admit I thought those little mint candies got their name because of their "breath refreshing" quality. I only realized much later that they got their name because of their life-belt shape.
I have a good laugh at myself every time I now see one of those "real" life savers ;)
