Isle of Skye

Arrived on the Isle of Skye late evening and booked into a site, then treated ourselves to a meal at a lovely hotel with log fires, they needed them as the weather had turned cold with icy rain falling every so often.

Roo discovered this castle ruins and had a look around it he really loves to be Monach of the Glen!

Skye what can I say about it....... remote, cold, wet, windy.

I think I needed to be here with my hero Karl Pilkington so we could've enjoyed a laugh at the amount of sheep, water and rivers.... And why would anyone put a phone box on a road that's thirty miles from civilisation?

Please take a look at back blips as I'm afraid Internet has been a struggle, dare I say I don't think it's reached Skye yet!!!!

Must just add the drive through Glen Coe was spectacular and Daniel Craig would've been proud of 007Roo as he handled it well as alot of SkyFall was filmed here.
