Well worth their money

Today's weather has not been very good. The day started off chilly and grey but still dry. It began to rain though shortly after I set off on this afternoon's walk with a lovely female dog from the sanctuary called Katrien and it hasn't stopped since.

Because of the gloomy and wet weather I couldn't take any photos at the park this afternoon. Fortunately I'd taken a few shots of the Begonias on my courtyard before I left the house. They have been doing very well over the past few months and they are still producing some new flowers even though their best time is behind them now.

I've only had to cough occasionally during the day and although it has become a little worse again this evening, it's still rather behaving itself compared to previous nights. I'm going to touch wood now and hope that it stays this way!

This cold has been very exhausting and I apologise for my lack of comments lately. I hope to get back into it a little more soon.
