The White Briony Fairy

I collect Flower Fairy plates from The World of Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Barker and must have something in the region of 60 of them.

I chose The White Briony Fairy to share with you as it won't be long before the hedgerows are strung with berries such as the plate shows.

On the reverse of the plate there is the following ditty:

Have you seen at Autumn-time
Fairy-folk adorning
All the hedges with necklaces,
Early in the morning?
Green beads and red beads
Threaded on a vine
Is there any handiwork
Prettier than mine?
