Charles Bridge in Prague

Diane and I arrived in Prague mid-day yesterday. After resting a bit, we wondered out, explored the metro, and made our way to Old Town where we had a delicious vegetarian dinner at the Maitrea Restaurant. It was cold and rainy so we left picture taking for today.

By this morning the rain had stopped. After breakfast, we met our tour guide, Krystof, and we traveled to Prague Castle. We spent most of the morning wandering the Castle grounds and buildings, and the streets of the Little Quarter. After an excellent lunch in a small Indian restaurant, we headed back to the hotel. I spent the afternoon at the World Veterinary Conference and Diane rested in our hotel room.

Tonight, we ventured out again to capture the sunset on the Vltava River.
