Rain drop Lightbulb

Sometimes photography is frustrating.

There I was eating breakfast and the most amazing light filled the sreet outside. I had to go outside and look; the whole of the sky was sufuse with reddish pink tones, the dawn sun underlighting high cloud which covered the majority of the sky. I've always recognised that if I see this kind of light, it's too late when at home to get to a location where I can take a pleasing image.

I headed for work and by the time I lifted my head from the computer screen a persistent rain had set in. In fact it is still raining now. As a fallback I popped into the garden and took some photographs of the water droplets hanging from our acer.
