This Saturday coming we've been asked to bring along a dessert to an event and I was rather mesmerized by one of those advertising videos that you get in shops. The product was a cutter with different interchangeable shapes and the video showed it being used in all kind of exciting ways with fruit and goodness knows what. It was basically any old baking cutters that hang around kitchen drawers. I got sucked in.

Before this I thought I had the most original brainwave of buying cornet wafers and making desserts that I could put inside them and this would enable the party-goers to eat one-handedly and no dishes to wash.
I hate when the realisation that 'this has become a trend already' hits home. Why can't I be the 'first'.
