The lonely Fungi

Coming back from the shop this morning noted a very small fungi growing on my front lawn. It stood out because of the colour against the grass but it's only 4-5cm tall.

If the neighbours spotted me they'd have thought I'd gone mad lying out almost flat on the path outside the front door wearing my wet weather gear. I had my camera resting on a plastic bag a short distance from the fungi - I'd already cut the grass around it with scissors!

Unfortunately missed a few bits of grass but the standard lens on my little camera seems great for close ups.
