Family.

These two men (my husband is on the right) had never met, even though they are second cousins, and live only about 100 yards away from each other. A request in our local newspaper for anyone knowing anything about the family of the other man, made my husband realise it was his family he was asking about. My husband got in touch and they found out that their grandfathers were brothers. The other man had never seen a picture of his mother who had died soon after his birth, but he was able to provide one for him. It has been great sharing knowledge of my husband's family with someone who wanted to know so much, and then the newspaper wanted to follow up the story, hence this picture. The family photograph is from a wedding in 1915. The two men at the left back are the two grandfathers, And the little girl in front of them is my husband's cousin's mother.
