omiya

met up with Jenny in Omiya today after work. it's been awhile since i hung out one-on-one with someone that's not Marlan. it's been even longer since i hung out one-on-one with a female. i'm hopeful about having a female friend.

every time i'm in a city, like Omiya, i'm reminded that there are actually a lot of people around. the world is rather really crowded with people going about their business while staring at their phones. i was minutely stressed out when i first got there. it's always a bit of a shock at first seeing so many people, and it takes a few moments to adapt. but it reminds me how much i appreciate the quietness of my town and its total lack of people.
