The Calm After The Storm

There was a huge storm last night - Queensland is good at big storms - lots of thunder, lightning and lashings of rain (32mm in a couple of hours here in Maleny). You wouldn't think it to look at this sunny pic, a few hours later.

Here's one of the garden's resident Australian Magpies - bigger than the European versions at around 43cm for adult males such as this one.
