Tomato Soup

It took our tomatoes their good sweet time, but now they are ON. We gathered the big heirlooms and a couple/three pounds of cherry tomatoes, then chopped onions, jalapeños, pablanos, and about eight cloves of garlic (or as Emeril Lagassi would say..."Gahhh-lic!" After slow cooking it all day, tomorrow we'll blend it. I think it will be good.

So this is retirement. Making soup on Monday. Beats hanging out at the pool hall, I guess.
