Big Nest

This is the only photo I took today and I didn't take this one as a Blip photo, but to record a nest in the top of a propane tank on the side of our house. I went out to check the gauge showing the level of propane and found this marvelous nest. The sides of the area where the nest is are open, and of course, the lid shown partially in the foreground stays closed over the top of the tank. I am once again amazed at animals' ability to find and use spaces that provide safe, dry lodging. I submit not as particularly good photography, but as a photo tribute to the way animals live and work.
