Fig

I keep getting suckered into buying figs. I like the shape, the colours and the textures, but not the taste for some reason. Maybe I'm too desperate to eat them and don't allow them to ripen enough, or maybe I just buy cheap ones that don't taste all that great anyway. For whatever reason, figs fascinate but fail to fulfill their promise. There, that's a nice alliterative sentence to end on.
