seeing as it is memorial day i thought it might be nice to grill up some asparagus. these beauties came from the farmers' market down the street. they're so much smaller and much more flavorful than their oversized supermarket counterparts. i bet they'll grill up nicely.
by 'grill' i'm obviously referring to the broiler inside the oven as i don't actually own a grill nor do i have a back yard in which to place one. city life does have its disadvantages.
