Disneyland Day 2

We were up early to get into the park for 8! Another split - MrRoly went off to do Space Mountain while the rest of us went on Peter Pan. This upset Red. The ride that is.

Red enjoyed the Teacups and carousel on day 1. Then it started to go a bit wrong - I wasn't there but I understand he didn't enjoy the pirate ride thing. Or 'It's A Small World'. The Wild West Show took a while for him to stop cowering on my lap and crying to get out. By the first time on Buzz Lightyear Zap 'Em Up Ride* he was reduced to cuddling in and whimpering...

We scooted back to the hotail for THE MOST INCREDIBLE BREAKFAST EVER! The children especially enjoyed the donuts...

This time we headed over to the Studios park for the Car Stunt Show. Red spent most of it with his hands over his ears until Lightning McQueen arrived!!!

We spent the afternoon in the hotel pool then had a far too brief rest before heading back to the studio park for the parade and our booked slot on the Rock and Roller Coaster.

Only the Rock and Roller Coaster was broken so we decided to go on the studio tram tour. Now we assumed it would be like the train around the other park (so pretty dull and a nice chance to sit down). Only it wasn't. This time we had full on screaming in terror with much crying from Red (and Lily and Emily and Sophia). Oops! I thought it was most excellent!

Tea was to be at the Rainforest Cafe. Only the thunderstorms and animated animals upset my now very precious smallest boy. And Bella didn't want anything on the menu. I'm sure it could be a wonderful experience. But this wasn't!

We got back to the main park to watch the parade which was wonderful! i want to be really cynical and dismissive but it IS magical, the children's faces were wonderful. A quick Buzz Lightyear (needed to use those fast passes) and bed time at a much more sensible time!
