Langostas

I'm trying to avoid posting a series of holiday snaps, which would be easy for me as there are some gorgeous views to be had on the island. No doubt more than a few will creep in though. This is a tank of live lobsters and smaller crustaceans (crayfish?) spotted in a tank at an early trip to the supermarket, waiting to be bought and cooked. Their claws are taped up to stop them damaging each other (and presumably the lucky buyer). I've never bought living food - in fact I make a point of never cooking or eating anything with a face, and don't think I'll be starting now. These creatures are so beautiful I just wanted to throw them all back in the sea.
