Cailleach

Lakin' good to me.....

It was an Edinburgh holiday today, and Doris decided we should Go Abroad!

So we went to the Lake District, specifically Cartmel, home of the famous Sticky Toffee Pudding (.....and before you ask, no I didn't!)

We had a lovely lunch, served by a very strange waitress, who seemed surprised that we might want to know anything about the food.....at one point she informed Mrs Doris that the special was venison shank, 'which is exactly like a lamb shank, but from a venison.' Well of course!

I'm now knackered, and for the first time in about 20 years, I'm off to bed before half ten! Catch you all tomorrow. x
