Kefalos Bay

We drove up to and through Kefalos to this viewing point high above the town and the bay named after it. The view also demonstrates how narrow Kos is just to the North East of Kefalos. The prevailing wind is from the North / North East so the beaches on the North side of the island experience rougher seas, while the beaches to the South such as Kefalos Bay are sheltered and consequently very calm.
