The Wait
Today has been a long day. We awoke at 3:00am Indiana time to get our friends to the airport and train station in Indianapolis by 5:00am, 6:00am respectively, with an hours drive from Greencastle where we all were staying the night. After that mission, which went well, it was another two hour drive to Champaign, Illinois for church. Illinois is an hour behind Indiana meaning the two hour drive became an hour, but also meaning we woke up at 2:00am. Phew, we made it. We visited my old church from college and had some iced tea and chatted about theology with some friends from church after. Then we headed to campus to meet my sister who just started Uni at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and even though she was busy with rush (the sorority joining process) we were able to hang out with her for a bit. We went to Papa Del's pizza (my favourite pizza place thus far) and back to her dormitory to see her room and meet her roommate.
This photo came from the Mrs having to put up with my boredom waiting for my sister to meet us. I am thankful she accommodates my antics and shutter-happiness.
After driving back home to Morton, Illinois, we successfully completed a 20 hour day! Needless to say, we slept well.
Off to Chicago tomorrow!
