"Downs and Ups of Today"

Dad was called back to the hospital this morning. He had a chest X Ray, then down to fracture clinic to see consultant. With all the walking dad was shattered. I ordered a mobility scooter for him to get back up to have a knee brace fitted in one department and a walking stick from Physio department.
At the mention of a scooter dad was mortified

"I can't manage to walk let alone use a scooter" !!!

Poor dad was so worked up but quite set up when he saw the man coming with the mobility chariot. Then he was measured for a knee brace and a tailor made walking stick, he was shattered but glad for the appliances that may help. He needs to go on the list for a knee replacement.

A visit to dads favourite chippy soon cheered him up, it put a smile on my face too !! :)
