Dereozu

We headed out of Turunc tonight to a restaurant in the countryside a few miles away. The little village of Dereozu nestles in a fertile valley a few miles from the coast, but what a difference these few miles make in both temperature and flora and fauna.

It was a truly Turkish meal, served as a buffet accompanied by the owner on his fiddle and sometimes a song, and a dance from some of the local people dining there. A great evening!

Now enjoying a night cap back in Turunc in a bar managed by the son of the owner of the above restaurant. It's a small world here!
