I was asked if I'd take photographs at the event today and was given an official badge to wear so I didn't look like some weirdo taking photos of children I don't know.
The kids had a blast particularly Olivia who participated in just about everything that she could. She was selected by the magician a number of times to assist him which I think he ended up regretting as she had seen one of the tricks before at a previous party!
He ended up standing her on a chair and giving her the mike to address the audience (only about 100 people!) so that she could explain the trick. She explained it in such detail and with such confidence that he looked on aghast and then, very good naturedly, told her that she was fired!

The cake pops and chocolate cake were delicious by the way :)
