Geevor...A Pit Head By The Sea

I always knew, I guess, that Geevor tin mine was on Cape Cornwall but I'd never given any thought to it being a deep mine with a pit head and all the rest so I was really surprised to turn a corner and come across a sight I would normally associate with home especially as it's got a pit village I would swear had been lifted directly from the Derbyshire coal field and plonked at the seaside.
