Purple Flower

I haven't a clue as to what the name of this flower is. I tried to look it up, but was unsuccessful. At any rate, this is a flower that's on our back deck. I really liked the way the sunlight was coming through the petals. So, I braved all of the flying insects and a playful dog to try to capture it. I'm pleased with the results.
