The 'Gift'.

Remember a few weeks ago I was rubbish at keeping up with your journals? I had no time for blip or anything else?

This is why!!! I couldn't say why on my blips as my Baby Boy sometimes reads them on my Facebook and it would have given away the surprise!!

Sam turned 18 last week which was why we went to Newquay at the weekend. Yes, home safe and sound after a mammoth 8 hour journey home!!! Mr W kept taking diversions to miss the road closures, putting an extra 3 hours on the trip!!!! For each of my children's 18th Birthdays, I have made them a memory book which holds 100's of photos of their life from birth to their 18th birthday. It includes important moments, birthdays and significant events. This little book took weeks and weeks of scanning, searching, uploading, editing and laughter. There were a few difficult memories to have to relive as I have been through a life changing divorce since then, but I tried hard to make sure there was a fair mix of everything.

Sam guessed what it was before he opened it, but saved it till he was alone before he looked at it properly and has text me since to thank me.
