Bloomin' condo!

This is a lovely protea bloom, rosy petals with some deep maroon inside.
Quiet colors made garish by the notorious iPhone 4S flash.
(The morning was dark, and house lights didn't help.)

The rather Halloweenish result fits well with this morning's mood.
I have discovered that a painful home ownership travail of last year is rearing its ugly head again. Blast and tarnation. Got to get it done before NaNoWriMo!
