Vondelpark

We had a great touristy day today, starting off with a walk and pancakes in Vondelpark. We then visited the Rijksmuseum, and saw some beautiful art before going on a canal cruise... mainly to rest our aching feet, but it was actually really interesting. This is a beautiful city. In the evening we met up with some friends for dinner (Mark has friends dotted all over the world... it's the main reason I married him!), and I even got a lift on the back of our friend Femke's bicycle to the restaurant... now I feel like a true Amsterdammer!
