View from the Berlin Tower

How things have changed and for the better and in my life time. This tower is a TV tower built in 1964 in the then GDR in East Berlin to represent the socialist side of the city.
Now it's on the top 3 places to see in Berlin, so we did! The panoramic floor where this picture was taken stands a little over 200 metres high. This is the view towards the Tiergarten (the green area) and the Brandenburg Gate is just in front if that. This lovely city is steeped in history a lot of which I can remember.
It's easy to get around and seems very quiet compared to other cities. With so much to see and do we could well book a return trip!
