Seasons Bounty 2

At 7.00am it was a beautiful morning, at 7.50 it wasn't but I was up and ready to walk. So with two dogs and 4 ladies we did a circuit though Goit stock, taking in part of Cullingworth and got quite wet!

Just before taking the stile from the fields to the main Cullingworth road at Cow House Bridge, I saw this well laden Elder which looked luscious regardless of the weather and thought it worthy of a shot.

Inset is bowl of blackberry and apple sponge pudding which we had for tea yesterday with two portions left for today. It has some of my spoils from last week's blackberry picking trip which I had put in the freezer. There are lots of good things about September but not always the weather!
