Miniature World
These little "palm trees" are part of the reproductive cycle of the moss growing on our garden path. At this time of the year, the normally velvety moss changes into small glossy pads and then sprouts these little growths. I could be wrong, but they may be the female organs. The reproductive cycle of the moss is complicated, but also successful judging by the amount we have here - although it could also be something to do with the mild wet climate in this part of England!
