cooking with gas

Spent the morning waiting for an engineer to fix the main oven in a nearly new gas appliance. Turned out the main oven is linked to the clock; when a power cut disrupted the clock, it disabled the main oven. Get the clock working again, and the main oven is restored. This took about ten seconds and made me feel a right numpty. But if you don't know such things, you'd never figure it out...

Anyway, main oven is restored.
