...... but they got no closer to each other than this as they both jumped up in the air with fright! Pity we hadn't captured that on camera! We think it dug its way under the shingle at the back fence in the night but has now disappeared through a hole next door so that has been blocked up so hopefully he will find a place to hibernate very soon with the cold snap already upon us!
