Stonehenge from the A303
Set off for Cornwall this morning, a long journey in distance as well as time taken. Lots of bottlenecks as well as stretches of faster road. Interesting weather too, with vast stormy showers as well as bright sunny intervals. Susan was driving as we approached Stonehenge and this shot presented itself as we came over the hill towards the Henge. The drama of the clouds with the Henge on the skyline and the crowds of people suddenly presented itself and I was able to grab this shot in a fleeting instant. Ten seconds later it was gone.
We arrived safely at our cottage at St Newlyn East just after 5.00pm after a 7 hour jouney. First impressions of the cottage were quite favourable but many of the doors were low and I can foresee a few bumped heads before the week is out.
You can see all the shots of Cornwall on my website.
