Last Rose of Summer!

A beautiful day today at the ocean in Maine, today. Not too warm, about 70, but still people hanging on for that last dip in the waves.
I love being at the beach. The sound of the surf, the smell of the salt air, and the sun's rays dancing on the sea foam, as it laps the sand.
As we were leaving, I noticed the rose bushes along the beach path. Just about all were closed and seeded, except for a very few.
It was as if it was waving goodbye, saying "see you next summer!"
