Downtown Houston
We've had so much fun today! We were in downtown Houston when I took this picture! There are 3 buildings in a row that are all covered in reflective glass, so the sky/clouds reflect on them like mirrors. I love the shape of them! It's a huge city, & has tons of traffic even on Sunday! It's a very confusing city to drive in, as many of their streets don't run true north/south or east/west, so it's often hard to tell which direction you're heading. After being downtown, we went to "nick's sports bar & grill", which is "The Home of the Cheddarheads of Houston"--in other words, home to the Green Bay Packer fans of Houston!! We watched the Packers beat the Washington Redskins (Yea!), & it was so much fun to be in a place that was packed with like-minded people!! They have their own chants for when the Packers score a touchdown, when the other team gets a penalty, etc., & even their own "touchdown dance"! It was a hoot!! :)
