Fallen Angel

Another in the series of Flower & Leaf. This time both from the same plant, a Strptocarpus or Cape Primrose, a popular house-plant. This flower had dropped during the night, a fallen angel reclining on one of the long, strap-like leaves.

I love Streptocarpus, glorious richly coloured flowers usually freely produced. This one was a gift from a friend. I had asked to take (and was given) a leaf from one as these can be used for propagation. Maybe one day I'll show how it went :-)
