is this me for the next 4 years?

Well thus ends week one. Can't believe it is only a week that has passed! So many changes, no all out night sleep and so many really lovely presents (inc one baby girl).

I failed to mention my sis staying yesterday. I find it hard to believe she is an Aunty. However me being a dad is perfectly normal. I know it doesn't make sense but tell that to my brain. She's been so patient in her viewing of Little R as we were in a bit of a melt down for the last couple of days. I think the hormones going down, the adrenaline too, set against the sleep deprivation increasing and Little R finding her lungs all meant for us putting out the sharp elbows and retreating into our own safe world.

All part of the learning curve of first time parents and by the sound of it we are getting off lightly. Poor R with all the feeding. Little R has taken to snack feeding, which we are told is perfectly normal, but it does mean it takes ages to get through a feed and the gaps between them shrink.
