Pavement Artist!

Miss Izzy admires pavement artwork on the quay in St Peter port today. A smile is the same in every language!
Town was shut to traffic (it is every Sunday in summer) and today the theme was a dog and pet show.
Lots of beautiful dogs around but also rabbits, ferrets, guinee pigs etc.
It was like a giant petting zoo as the children could hold and stroke most of the animals present.
The children even got closely acquainted with a 10 year of tortoise which, we don't seem to see very often now (I had one as a child!)
Weather was quite nice if autumn like when we went to the event but, within a few hours it was gale force wind and lots of rain which was an enormous disappointment to those who worked so hard to present the day.
Should any of the organisers read blip, can we thank you so much for your great efforts where were greatly appreciated!
