Goldenrod And Visiting Bee ...
It was a day of extremes today in terms of the weather. Grey cloudy skies with wind and rain alternated with short periods sunlight.
In the garden the Goldenrod flourishes. A beautiful bright yellow colored plant that still attracts lots of insects at the end of the summer.
I made the picture of this small using an extra flash to ensure a constant brightness during shooting (click for specification 'tags').
I hope you all enjoyed the weekend. Wondering what the new week will bring ... ;)
EDIT: the insect called 'bee' by me, happens to be a hoverfly. Read about it in the interesting and informative comment of fellow blipper and biologist ~Chamaeleo. Thank you so much!
