Beginners workshop

Today I went on a beginners photography workshop. We've had our digital SLR for nearly 3 years now so it was high time I learnt how to use it properly! It was raining heavily when I left home and I got drenched cycling into York. Luckily it stopped about 5 minutes before the session started and didn't come back until just after I got home - phew!
I really enjoyed the workshop and now know all the basics. I can't wait to start taking lots of photos now I know what Im doing. This is a photo of a flower in the museum gardens that I took on the workshop.
The boys went back to volunteer on the moors railway today. I must say a big thank you to my best friend, Lorna, for looking after Heather so I could go today.
