Hardy types
I compensated for yesterday's pathetic walk by pushing out the boat a bit this afternoon. This time I got the DART to Blackrock and walked from there back to York Road in Dún Laoghaire to meet Carl when he finished work. It was warm and muggy, though overcast. Despite the mugginess, I was surprised to see so many people in the water at Seapoint. I overheard them telling one another how warm the water was, but I reckon they were just being macho.
After a quick stop back at Carl's place we went to his parents' place for a very pleasant evening meal. A good day, really, and I ended it feeling more comfortable at the prospect of tomorrow's appointment with the surgeon than I would have if I'd been facing it alone.
