Before the Rain

I managed to blip these allotments before the rain.They are fairly near us and on my morning cycle run. At the moment they are bulging with delicious looking fruit and vegetables, but the strong link fence deters anyone with ulterior motives.

Well, we had a lovely afternoon yesterday - lunch at the Gosford Farm shop and then the luxury of a "no 99" sitting on the sea wall at North Berwick. The sun was out, there was no wind and the beach was alive with kids, parents and grannies . (not many Grandads that I could see).

This morning we said a sad Au Revoir to Mrs David77 when we drove her to the airport. She is going down to Cornwall before being reunited with David77 and then departing for their new life in Cairo. We loved having her stay with us and hope to see her next year if not before. Haste Ye Back, as they say here.
